Rule of Thirds

This photo was taken using the Rule of Thirds. Notice how it is in the far left third. The reason why this is a good photo is because of the background, lighting, and subject. The background of the photo is blurred out and popping with vibrant colors. On top of that the subject is an interesting one for it is characterized with a soft delicate body. This pops out to the viewer giving them a sense of beauty.

This one was also taken using the Rule of Thirds. Everything in the photo is okay except for the lighting. Unlike the picture above the light is a bit darker and dull. Also the subject isn't as interesting as the previous one.

This photo was taken using the self timing feature. On top of that I used a tripod to raise the camera so that the picture could be taken at this angle. This setup is ideal for times when you yourself want to be in the picture like at a wedding or party.

The tripod can be used to take pictures from places you can't reach. In this photo the tripod is under the bleachers. You can do this in places like high shelfs, from inside a locker, etc.

Framing

This was a successful trial in framing. I took this photo through a space made by stacks of books. The photo has an interesting subject that really stands out.

This was also a successful trial at framing. I took it through a tire on a field. The only problem with the photo is that the subject isn't as interesting as the picture above. Otherwise the photo is fine.
